A small, thin-walled cup sized for a single or double shot — 90 ml, so a double sits at the brim with the crema intact. The thin porcelain wall doesn't leach the heat out of a small pour the way a thick cup would, which is what you want under an espresso.
High-fired white porcelain with a single sage line painted at the rim, matching the porcelain plate. The bright ground shows off the crema; the sage line is the only colour on it.
It is deliberately small. If your habit is a long black or an Americano, this cup won't hold it — reach for the stoneware mug for that and keep this one for the short shot.
