Wide and only lightly dished, which is exactly what pasta wants — sauce pools in the low centre and coats each forkful instead of sliding to one side. It does the same honest work under a grain bowl, a risotto, or a soupy stew you eat with a fork.
Same sage matte glaze and vitrified stoneware body as the dinner plate, high-fired in oxidation, with the pale clay foot left bare. The two read as one range across a table.
The gentle slope means a thin sauce sits shallow. Fill it past the inner curve and the last of a brothy dish will find the rim, so ladle with that in mind.
